MRs. Mallorie Knudson
Thanks for stopping by my page! I was a student teacher in Mrs. Fernandez's 1st grade classroom for the 2014-2015 school year and just completed my second year of teaching. I fell in love with ASU Prep Poly the minute I first walked through the doors, and I am thrilled to be entering into my third year of teaching second grade!
I was born and raised in Redlands, California and moved to Arizona in 2011. I received my Associate's in Elementary Education at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in 2013, then transferred to ASU to get my Bachelor's. I'm a big ASU football fan and I try to go to as many games as possible (Go Sun Devils!). In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, watching Netflix, traveling (especially to the beach), and spending time with family, friends, and my 3 dogs. I just celebrated my first anniversary with my wonderful husband, Cody, and we are in the midst of building our own business.
I am very excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year, especially since I am familiar with most of my students and their families from last year. I believe in making learning fun, hands-on, and relevant to students. I have a structured classroom with routines and procedures, but also have a rewards system to motivate students to make good choices. I love my job, and especially my students!

*A few of you have asked where I like to eat/what kind of things I like. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I love Jamba Juice, Starbucks strawberry lemonade refreshers, Target, peanut butter m&m's, and any kind of salty/crunchy snack.
